Accessibility policy

Our commitment
Rubicon Microproducts Inc., which operates DayBy, is committed to treating all people in a way that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence. We aim to meet the needs of people with disabilities in a timely manner, in line with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and its Integrated Accessibility Standards.
Website standard
DayBy's website and app are designed to conform with WCAG 2.0 Level AA, and we test against WCAG 2.1 AA. This includes keyboard access, a skip-to-content link, text alternatives, labelled form fields, sufficient colour contrast, and pages in English and French.
Known limits: the two listening tasks present spoken stimuli, and captions would reveal the answers, so they rely on hearing. Timed tasks measure reaction time by design. Every other task is visual and works with a keyboard. If a task does not suit your needs, contact us and we will suggest an alternative.
Feedback
We welcome feedback on how we provide accessible service. You can reach us by email, or through the request form when signed in. Feedback can be given anonymously. We reply within 5 business days and explain any action we will take.

· Request formAccessible formats and communication supports
On request, we provide this policy, our reports and other public information in an accessible format (for example plain text, large print or a screen-reader friendly document) at no extra cost, in a timely manner, and in consultation with you about what works best.
Assistive devices, support persons and service disruptions
You may use your own assistive technology and be accompanied by a support person during any test or session. If a feature people rely on for access becomes unavailable, we post a notice on the site explaining the reason, expected duration and alternatives.
Training and review
Everyone who builds or supports DayBy is trained on the AODA and the Ontario Human Rights Code as it relates to people with disabilities. We review this policy at least every year and audit the site for accessibility with each major release.
